Buying a new home is exciting, but when you need to sell your current home first, the process becomes much more complex. Timing, negotiations, inspections, moving, and coordinating two transactions all have to come together perfectly.
I’m happy to share another successful story where I had the opportunity to represent my client on both the sale of their existing home and the purchase of their new home.
This wasn’t simply about closing two transactions. It was about creating a seamless transition from one chapter of life to the next.
After successfully selling their home, we worked together to find a property that better fit their family’s current needs. Once both transactions were completed, I was also there on moving day to help make the transition as smooth as possible.
Many people think a real estate agent’s job ends at the closing table. In reality, that’s only part of what we do. My goal is to provide guidance from the very first consultation until my clients are comfortably settled into their new home.
Whether it’s coordinating timelines, working with attorneys and lenders, recommending movers, or simply lending a helping hand, I believe every detail matters.
Seeing my clients receive the keys to their new home and watching them begin the next chapter makes all the hard work worthwhile.
If you’re thinking about selling your current home while buying another, having the right strategy is essential. Careful planning can reduce stress, protect your equity, and help ensure both transactions close smoothly.
If you’re considering making a move in New York City, Queens, Brooklyn, Long Island, or Westchester, I’d be happy to help you create a plan that works for your situation.
